I. DESCRIPTION OF COURSE

The support services class is designed to address the diverse learning needs through specialized instruction to meet students’ IEP goals through specialized.  During this period, students will work on mini-lessons designed to address weaknesses and needs identified in the IEP.

II. TEXTBOOKS AND SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIALS

Students need to come prepared for class with their agenda and texts/materials from their general education classes.  Individual folders and/or composition notebooks will be provided to be used in class.

III. GRADING

The grading scale is as follows:                                                   Grades will be classified into three categories:

A (90-100)                                                                                                           Major (50%)

B (80-90)                                                                                                              Minor (40%)

C (70-80)                                                                                                              Daily/Homework Effort (10%)

D (60-70)

F (Below 60)

A student’s grade will be based on participation, classroom assignments, work habits, behavior, and individual goals based on individual needs of each student.

IV. RULES AND PROCEDURES

Students are expected to follow the school rules and procedures that are listed in the student’s handbook.

3.  Respect our classroom.       

 

VII. MAKE UP PROCEDURES

All missed assignments will be in assigned folders.
